  1. 1) Tell what you liked or did not like so far about the book. I liked that the book ended with Rowdy and Arnold together. I didn't like how they killed off the sister so suddenly.

    2) Ask a question or make a prediction. Will Arnold ad rowdy rebuild there relationship?

    3) Provide a quote from the book, and explain why you choose it. I chose the quote "We didn't keep score" I chose this quote because it showed that they didn't about who won the game they just cared that they were friends again.

    1. I agree that it was unfortunate that the sister was killed, but I also think that it was a happy ending. I think that if the story continued that Rowdy would have a better relationship with Junior.

  2. 1) Tell what you liked or did not like so far about the book.
I like how in the end it seems like rowdy and junior are friends again but it waskind of sudden and out of nowhere. There was nothing leading up to it really.

    2) Ask a question or make a prediction.
I wonder if the author didn't elaborate on the deaths on purpose.

    3) Provide a quote from the book, and explain why you choose it.
"we didn't keep score" It shows us that junior and rowdy are closer and that they care more about the game and not who wins.

    2. I agree that the ending was quite sudden and I think that the whole book was quite like that. I also think that the author should have kept the sister alive.

I haven't enjoyed any of the book.

    2) Ask a question or make a prediction.
I want to know what Juniors life ended up like after the events of the book.

    3) Provide a quote from the book, and explain why you choose it.
"We didn't keep score" This shows us that Junior and Rowdy are closer together and that they have started to resolve their conflict.

    1. I think that the book had some reasonable parts in it, but I don't think that I enjoy the author's writing style. I think it was a pretty unsatisfying ending.

  4. 1) Tell what you liked or did not like so far about the book.
I enjoyed this last section of the book the most because certain things started to tie together, like his relationship with Rowdy developed much more at the very end. However there was much more to the book I didn't like in the last section, was that there was no climax, and it went back to many reoccuring events, but the slightest of changes. I wish this book would've provided much more character development, and much more change in events, and it would make the book 'that' much better by adding an eventful climax, however there was a resolution, with Junior and his bestfriend Rowdy which was the most eventful part of this section, however I didn't like how not much changed. I reallt expected a big ending, and for everything to tie back together, but not much changed, which was disapointing.

    2) Ask a question or make a prediction.
I wonder if there would be a sequal to the book, and I wonder what happens to the characters in the book after all the major events that occured. And I wonder what happens to Rowdy, and Junior, and if they continue to be friends, or if things change again.

    3) Provide a quote from the book, and explain why you choose it.
"We didn't keep score" I think that this quote had great importance to the story because basically it was one of the final quotes that represented the resolved conflict between him and his bestfriend, and that his bestfriend was more important than anything, and in the end they did make up, and accept eachother for who they are and it was one of the only things that showed change in the book. Because for a long time Rowdy and Junior had major conflict, and one of the only major changes in the book was the acceptance of eachother, and the resolved conflict.

    1. I actually think the character development was quite good, but I wish there had been more of a climax. I liked that last quote as well.

  5. Week 5
In the book I enjoyed how the characters developed and the relationships created, but disliked the lack of conflict and solid climax. I think that the author was very good at creating meaningful relationships that developed through the story, although I think the book overall lacked detail and contained deaths that were unnecessary to the storyline. What I am left wondering is whether Junior will leave the reserve forever and whether his family will join him. A quote that I thing sums up the story quite well is as follows. "It all gave me hope. It gave me a little bit of joy." This quote is important because Junior is talking about how his friends stood up for him and his newfound strength. It also shows that Junior has finally gained hope, something he was lacking at the beginning of the book. Overall, I think the book was quite well written, but I disliked the authors style.
